BACKGROUND
Voxie was originally created for multiple reasons.
(1) The name Voxie is a tribute to Moxie, a physical robot companion for children, which unfortunately is no longer available. Voxie, a virtual upgrade to Moxie, can become an option for Moxie’s stranded users.
(2) Most AI tools are for adults, but we believe AI can also be a valuable education and learning tool for children.
(3) We want to make AI accessible to everyone, in cost and ways to interact. Voxie is free to use and you can (a) call or (b) text its number, or (c) chat on a webpage.
(4) Customize your own version of Voxie to behave the way your want. Parents can build with control over guardrails and values your AI teaches your children. More below.

We recognize one size AI doesn’t fit all. Every person is unique, seeks different types of interactions, and has different values. It’s now possible to have your AI reflect that. This is especially useful to parents who might want control over what the AI teaches and the values it instills in their children.
